A bucket of water is a simple item in RuneScape 3 with many uses. You make one by using an empty bucket on a water source, like a fountain, a sink, or a well. A bucket is the only vessel you can fill from a well. You can also cast the Humidify spell on empty buckets. This needs level 68 Magic and the Dream Mentor quest, and it fills up to 28 buckets in one cast.
Buckets of water have many uses. You can mix one with flour to make dough, or with clay to make soft clay. You can also use one to refill waterskins or fill a watering can. Some quests need this item too. In Plague City, it softens the soil outside Edmond's house. In Clock Tower, it cools the black cog.
This item is free to play, tradeable, and noteable. It does not stack and weighs 3 kg. It can also be disassembled for Invention. Filling a bucket at a water source needs no skill level and takes less than one second. It is a cheap and handy item to keep on hand for cooking, crafting, and questing.
