Description
The Wilderness hilt is a members only item in RuneScape 3. Players use it to upgrade certain dragon weapons. When you attach the hilt to one of these weapons, its stats rise to tier 70. The weapon also keeps its special attack.
The hilt works on the dragon dagger, dragon claw, dragon longsword, dragon mace, and dragon scimitar. It also works on the off-hand versions of each of these weapons. The upgraded weapon becomes a superior dragon weapon.
Keep in mind that the upgrade cannot be undone. Superior dragon weapons cannot be traded or disassembled. If a player kills you in the Wilderness while you have a superior dragon weapon, only the Wilderness hilt will drop. If a monster kills you, nothing will drop.
In the game, the hilt drops from the Wilderness slayer drop table. It can also be bought with 2,000 Bounty Hunter points from the Bounty Hunter and Deathmatch Reward Shop. The item is tradeable and noteable, and it weighs only 0.01 kg. This makes it easy to carry and store.
