The Dragon scimitar is a curved sword in RuneScape 3. It is a tier 60 mainhand melee weapon that uses the Slash style. To wield it, you need 60 Attack and the Monkey Madness quest done. It has 576 ability damage and 1132 accuracy. An off-hand version also exists.

Its special attack is called Draconic Slash. It costs 25% adrenaline and hits for 240% to 280% ability damage with a 25% higher hit chance. When the hit lands, your slash weapons get a 25% hit chance boost for one minute. This makes it strong against high defence targets and bosses like Telos and Vorago. Many players use it as a switch with weapons like the Noxious scythe or the Dark shard of Leng. It also works well in the Essence of Finality.

The Dragon scimitar is a classic weapon. Along with the Abyssal whip, it was once one of the most popular non-degrading weapons for melee training. It can be combined with a Wilderness hilt to make a Superior dragon scimitar. The item is tradeable, lendable, and can be noted or disassembled.
