Description
The wyrm scalp is a rare drop in RuneScape 3. It comes from lava strykewyrms in the Wilderness. These are level 115 monsters. The boss version, the WildyWyrm, can also drop it. This is a members-only item.
The main use of the wyrm scalp is to make the strykebow. When you attach the scalp to a dark bow, it becomes a strykebow. The new bow starts with 20% charges. The strykebow degrades as you fight with it. You can add more dark bows to recharge it by 20% each time. After 10 hours of combat, the bow degrades and uses up the dark bow. You are then left with the wyrm scalp again. You can also undo the attachment, but you only get the scalp back.
The wyrm scalp is tradeable and noteable. It weighs 0.453 kg. You can also disassemble it. Disassembly gives 0.1 XP and often yields simple parts, with a small chance of variable components.
