Description
The 'XP Capacitor' blueprint is a tradeable item in RuneScape 3. It is one of Howl's original invention blueprints. Reading it lets you learn how to build the XP Capacitor 5000, a device that stores item experience for later use.
You need level 106 Invention to study the blueprint. This level can be boosted. With an extreme invention potion, you can study it from level 89 Invention. Discovering the blueprint at an inventor's workbench gives 42,500 Invention experience. It also counts toward the Draught Includer achievement, which asks players to discover all 159 invention blueprints.
The XP Capacitor 5000 works like bonus experience for augmented items. While you train with augmented gear, some of the item experience goes into the capacitor instead. Once it is full at 100,000, it grants double item experience until it runs out. Using the device requires level 106 Invention.
The blueprint weighs 0.5 kg and can be noted. It is always kept on death outside dangerous areas. It can also be disassembled, giving mostly Simple parts with a small chance of Variable components. This is a strong pick for players who want faster item leveling in Invention.
