Description

The Yanillian seed is a hop seed in RuneScape 3. Players with level 16 Farming can plant it in a hops patch to grow Yanillian hops. These hops are used to make Wizard's Mind Bombs.

Each hops patch needs four seeds. Planting gives 14.5 Farming experience. Each harvest gives 16 experience, and a crop has at least 3 harvest lives. The crop takes 60 minutes to grow, split into 6 stages of 10 minutes each. Players can pay a farmer 1 basket of tomatoes to protect the patch from disease.

Better compost adds more harvest lives. Magic secateurs, the amulet of nature, and the ring of whispers help players keep harvest lives. The crop farmer outfit and master farmer outfit also give a small chance to save a harvest life.

The seed is tradeable and stackable, and it weighs nothing. It is always kept on death outside a dangerous area. It can also be disassembled, giving Organic parts most of the time and Living components on rare occasions. This seed is a simple way to train Farming at low levels while growing a useful brewing ingredient.
