The adamant knife is a throwing knife in Old School RuneScape. You need a Ranged level of 30 to wield it. It is stronger than a mithril knife but weaker than a rune knife. The examine text calls it a finely balanced throwing knife.

Throwing knives are among the fastest weapons in the game, along with darts. This makes the adamant knife a popular pick for PKing and for training Ranged. It gives a +15 Ranged attack bonus and a +14 Ranged strength bonus. It can also be poisoned to deal extra damage over time. Since it is a one-handed weapon, you can wield it with a shield or a god book for extra protection.

The knife has three combat styles. Accurate boosts your Ranged level by 3. Rapid attacks one tick faster. Longrange adds 2 tiles to your attack range and boosts Defence by 3.

Players with 77 Smithing can make adamant knives. One adamant bar gives 5 knives and 62.5 Smithing experience. The adamant knife is a members item. It is tradeable, stackable, and weighs nothing, so it is easy to carry in large amounts.
