Description

The mithril knife is a throwing knife in Old School RuneScape. It needs a Ranged level of 20 to wield. It is stronger than a black knife but weaker than an adamant knife. It gives a Ranged attack bonus of +11 and a Ranged strength bonus of +10.

Throwing knives are among the fastest weapons in the game. On Rapid style, this knife attacks every 1.2 seconds. That speed makes it a good pick for training Ranged or for PKing. Since it is a one-handed weapon, you can wield it with a shield or a god book for extra protection. It can also be poisoned for more damage.

Players with 57 Smithing can make mithril knives at an anvil. One mithril bar makes 5 knives and gives 50 Smithing experience. The knife is stackable, so a full stack takes up only one inventory slot. It weighs nothing, so it will not slow you down.

The mithril knife is a members-only item. It is tradeable, so you can buy a stack and start training Ranged right away.
