Description
The Adamant platebody is a strong chest armour in Old School RuneScape. It is a melee armour with stats between mithril and rune. You need level 30 Defence to wear it. It gives more protection than an adamant chainbody, and its examine text says it provides excellent protection.
The platebody gives +65 stab, +63 slash, +55 crush, and +63 ranged defence. Like all platebodies, it lowers your Magic and Ranged attack, with -30 to magic and -15 to ranged. It is a free-to-play item, and it can be traded on the Grand Exchange.
Players with level 88 Smithing can make one from five adamantite bars at an anvil with a hammer. This gives 312.5 Smithing experience. Making one is also a task in the elite Lumbridge and Draynor Diary. Monsters like the King Black Dragon, Commander Zilyana, and adamant dragons can drop it, and it can also come from level 2 clue scroll rewards.
