Description
Angler's paint is a salmon pink boat paint in Old School RuneScape. Players use it to recolour the trim of a skiff or sloop at the boat schematics board in the Shipyard. Trimming a boat needs level 25 Sailing and 20 Construction, and it gives 10 Construction experience. A skiff needs one paint, and a sloop needs two.
This paint is a rare drop from trawling. It comes at a rate of 1 in 18,000 from deep sea trawling, or 1 in 16,200 from trawling mixed shoals on a successful catch. Rod fishing at a shoal will not give the paint, and crewmates will not roll for it either. That makes it a hard item to find on your own.
Angler's paint can also be traded to Trader Stan, along with shark, inky, salvor's, and Barracuda paint, in exchange for merchant's paint.
The item is members only and tradeable. It is not equipable and not stackable, but it can be noted. It weighs 1 kg. Buying Angler's paint is a fast way to give your boat a salmon pink trim without long hours of trawling.
