Description
Barracuda paint is a boat paint in Old School RuneScape. It has a light blue colour. Players use it to recolour the trim on a skiff or sloop. The paint is applied at the boat schematics board at the Shipyard.
Trimming a boat needs level 25 Sailing and level 20 Construction. It also gives 10 Construction experience. A skiff needs one paint. A sloop needs two paints.
This paint is hard to get in the game. It drops at random from Marlin rank Barracuda Trials, and only if the player beats the target time. The drop rates are low. The Tempor Tantrum has a 1 in 240 rate. The Jubbly Jive has a 1 in 220 rate. The Gwenith Glide has a 1 in 400 rate. Getting one on your own can take many hours.
Barracuda paint can also be traded to Trader Stan. Along with angler's, inky, salvor's, and shark paint, it can be swapped for merchant's paint.
The item is tradeable and noteable. It is not stackable and cannot be worn. It weighs 1 kg. Its item ID is 32087.
