Description
Arctic pine logs are a Members item in Old School RuneScape. They come from arctic pine trees on the island of Neitiznot. Players need level 54 Woodcutting to cut these trees, and each log gives 40 Woodcutting experience.
These logs have a few good uses. With level 42 Firemaking, players can burn them for 125 experience per log. With level 56 Woodcutting, players can use them on a woodcutting stump to make split logs or a Neitiznot shield. The shield takes two logs, a bronze nail, and a rope, and it gives 34 Crafting experience. Split logs are used to repair bridges during The Fremennik Isles quest, so these logs are a quest item too.
Arctic pine logs cannot be made into bows with Fletching. They are tradeable and noteable, but not stackable or equipable. Each log weighs 1.36 kg. Ice trolls on Neitiznot, such as grunts, males, females, and runts, can drop 2 to 4 noted logs at a rate of 1 in 14. Logs also spawn on the ground in some spots, including five spawns at Weiss, and respawn every 60 seconds.
