Description

Asgarnian ale is a drink in Old School RuneScape. When you drink it, it restores 1 Hitpoint and boosts your Strength by 2 for a short time. It also lowers your Attack level, from 2 points at low levels up to 6 points at high levels. The Strength boost makes it a cheap way to hit harder in combat or training.

This ale is needed for quests. You need 4 of them in the Recipe for Disaster Dwarf subquest, where a coin turns each one into Asgoldian ale. You also need one in the Death Plateau quest to get the guard Harold drunk. It comes up in the Wanted! quest too.

Players can brew it at level 24 Cooking for 248 experience. The recipe uses 2 buckets of water, 2 barley malt, 4 Asgarnian hops, and a pot of ale yeast. One batch makes 8 ales. The mature version is called Asgarnian ale(m).

The ale is tradeable and noteable, but it does not stack and cannot be worn. It weighs 0.55 kg. The lore says it has a malty, caramelly sweet taste. Grab some Asgarnian ale and save time on brewing.
