Description

Axeman's folly(m) is a mature ale in Old School RuneScape. It is the stronger version of the regular axeman's folly. When you drink it, it boosts your Woodcutting level by 2 for a short time. It also heals 2 Hitpoints. As a trade-off, it lowers your Attack and Strength by 4 levels.

This ale is handy for quests or tasks that need a higher Woodcutting level than you have. The 2 level boost from the mature version is twice as strong as the regular ale, which only gives 1 level.

Players make this ale with the Cooking skill at a brewery. It needs level 49 Cooking. Each batch of axeman's folly has a chance to turn out mature. Adding "the stuff" to the vat raises that chance from 5% to 64%. The recipe uses 2 buckets of water, 2 barley malt, 1 oak root, and 1 ale yeast.

Axeman's folly(m) is a members item. It is tradeable and noteable, but it is not stackable and cannot be equipped. It weighs 0.55 kg. Its item ID is 5753, and it was released on 11 July 2005.
