Description
The Bandos platebody is a rune platebody made in the colours of Bandos in Old School RuneScape. It has the same stats as a normal rune platebody, plus a +1 Prayer bonus. It also protects you from followers of Bandos in the God Wars Dungeon, so they will not attack you on sight.
To wear it, you need 40 Defence and you must finish the Dragon Slayer I quest. It cannot be made with the Smithing skill. It only comes as a reward from hard Treasure Trails, so it is a nice way to show off your clue luck.
The platebody gives strong melee defence with +82 Stab, +80 Slash, and +72 Crush. It also gives +80 Ranged defence. Like other heavy armour, it lowers your Magic attack by 30 and your Ranged attack by 15.
This armour is a good pick for players who want rune platebody stats with a small Prayer boost. It also helps anyone who plans to fight in the Bandos area of the God Wars Dungeon. You can store it in the treasure chest of a costume room as part of the Bandos rune armour set.
