Description
The Bandos rune armour set (lg) is a melee armour set from Old School RuneScape. It comes with four pieces: the Bandos full helm, Bandos platebody, Bandos platelegs, and Bandos kiteshield. Each piece shows the colors of the god Bandos.
The armour has the same attack and defence stats as Rune armour. It also adds a +1 prayer bonus on each piece, for a total of +4 prayer. The full set gives strong defence bonuses: +207 stab, +209 slash, +192 crush, and +205 ranged. You need 40 Defence to wear it. The platebody also needs the Dragon Slayer I quest.
The set item is a smart way to save bank space. The whole set sits in one bank slot until you open it. Just exchange it with a Grand Exchange clerk to unpack all four pieces. The set is tradeable and noteable, but you cannot equip the set item itself.
The armour pieces normally come from Hard Treasure Trails and cannot be made with the Smithing skill. That makes this set a great pick for players who want the look and prayer bonus without doing clue scrolls.
