Buy OSRS Barbed bolts
Description
Barbed bolts are bronze bolts with barbed tips in Old School RuneScape. They work as a stronger version of bronze bolts and need only level 1 Ranged to use. You can fire them from any standard crossbow, including the regular crossbow and the Phoenix crossbow.
Players make barbed bolts with the Fletching skill at level 51. You attach barb bolttips to bronze bolts. Each tip you attach gives 9.5 Fletching experience, so a set of 10 bolts gives 95 experience. The bolt tips come from the Ranging Guild Ticket Exchange, where 30 tips cost 140 archery tickets. Ironmen need level 40 Ranged to enter the Ranging Guild and buy the tips.
Barbed bolts are a members-only item. They are tradeable, equipable, and stackable, and they weigh nothing. This makes them easy to carry in large amounts. They do less damage than opal bolts (e) and cost more, but they are a solid pick for low level Ranged training and early crossbow use.
The item came out on 29 March 2004 with the launch of RuneScape 2, after first showing up in the RuneScape 2 Beta.
