Description

Bronze bolts are the weakest crossbow bolts in Old School RuneScape. They can be shot from any crossbow, which makes them a good fit for new players who are training Ranged. Each bolt gives a ranged attack bonus of +10. They are tradeable, stackable, and weigh nothing, so a full stack takes up just one inventory slot.

Bronze bolts are also useful for training Fletching. Players with level 11 Fletching can add opal bolt tips to turn them into opal bolts. This gives 1.6 Fletching experience per tip. At level 51 Fletching, players can add barbed bolt tips to make barbed bolts, which gives 9.5 Fletching experience per tip. Bolts can be poisoned too, but poisoned bolts cannot have tips added.

Players can make bronze bolts themselves. Smithing a bronze bar at level 3 Smithing gives 10 unfinished bolts. Adding a feather to each one at level 9 Fletching finishes the bolt. Buying them ready to use skips all of that work.
