Description

Shark paint is a grey boat paint in Old School RuneScape. Players use it to recolour the trim of a skiff or sloop. The paint is applied at the boat schematics board at the Shipyard. A grey trim gives your boat a clean, sharp look out on the water.

Trimming a boat needs level 25 Sailing and level 20 Construction. The job grants 10 Construction experience. A skiff needs one paint to trim. A sloop needs two paints, so plan to have enough on hand for the boat you sail.

Shark paint drops at a rate of 1 in 36 when a player finishes a port task. That makes it slow to collect on your own. Buying the paint saves time so you can trim your boat right away.

This paint has another use too. You can give shark paint to Trader Stan, along with angler's, inky, salvor's, and Barracuda paint, to get merchant's paint in return.

Shark paint weighs 1 kg and has the item ID 32090. On the Grand Exchange, the buy limit is 5 per 4 hours.
