Description
Belle's folly (tarnished) is the broken form of Belle's folly in Old School RuneScape. It drops only from the Shellbane Gryphon at a rate of 1 in 256. The item is tradeable and noteable, so players can buy it instead of hunting the drop themselves.
To repair the blade, take it to the polishing wheel in the Giants' Foundry. This needs 70 Smithing and the quest Sleeping Giants. Boosts work for the Smithing level. Fixing the blade gives 500 Smithing experience and turns it into Belle's folly.
The repaired weapon is a one-handed stab weapon that needs 65 Attack to wield. It works as a stab version of the zombie axe. It has +100 stab attack, +78 slash attack, and a +102 strength bonus. It also has the highest stab and slash defence bonuses of any one-handed weapon.
The tarnished blade cannot be equipped or stacked and weighs 1.36 kg. It is a smart pickup for players who want a strong stab weapon and some easy Smithing experience at the same time.
