Description
The Big pirate hat is a rare cosmetic item in Old School RuneScape. It comes from elite Treasure Trails as a reward from the elite reward casket, at a drop rate of 1 in 1,275. It looks like a bigger version of the normal pirate's hat.
This hat gives no stats and no combat bonuses. Players wear it to stand out and show off a rare clue reward. For 500 coins, Patchy can attach it to a right eye patch. This makes a pirate hat and patch.
The hat can be stored in the treasure chest of a costume room in a player-owned house. Open the interface for the elite clue tier first, or use the item on the opened chest to store it right away. As a fun fact, Evil Dave sees this hat as evil.
The Big pirate hat is a members-only item. It is tradeable on the Grand Exchange with a buy limit of 4 every 4 hours. It can be equipped and noted, but it does not stack. It weighs almost nothing at 0.001 kg.
