The bolt mould is a members only item in Old School RuneScape. It is used with the Crafting skill to make silver bolts. Players who train Crafting or make their own Ranged ammo will want this simple tool.
To use the bolt mould, you need level 21 Crafting. Use it with a silver bar at a furnace. Each silver bar gives you ten unfinished silver bolts and 50 Crafting experience. This makes the mould a handy way to gain Crafting levels while making useful ammo. Silver bolts are strong against certain monsters, so the ammo has real value in combat too.
The bolt mould is only needed for silver bolts. You do not need it to make any other type of unfinished bolt. It is light to carry at under half a kilogram, so it fits easily in your inventory during a crafting trip.
The item has a high alchemy value of 15 gp and a low alchemy value of 10 gp. It has a Grand Exchange buy limit of 40 every 4 hours. Its item ID is 9434, and it falls under the Ranged and Ammo category.
