The bone club is a members-only melee weapon in Old School RuneScape. It is a crush weapon that sits between the iron warhammer and the steel warhammer in power. The item description calls it "Basic but brutal!"
The club gives a +16 crush attack bonus and a +15 strength bonus. It has -4 bonuses to stab, slash, and magic. It gives no defence or prayer bonuses. The weapon fills the weapon slot and weighs about 0.9 kg. It attacks once every 3.6 seconds and hits targets one tile away.
The bone club has three combat styles. Pound trains Attack, Pummel trains Strength, and Block trains Defence. Each style also trains Hitpoints. This makes it a simple choice for players who want to train any melee skill with crush damage.
In the game, players can get the bone club after finishing The Lost Tribe quest. It is sold at Nardok's Bone Weapons store in the Dorgeshuun Mines. It can also drop from a cave goblin or a cave goblin guard. The weapon was released on 31 May 2005.
