Description

The bone dagger is a members melee weapon in Old School RuneScape. It has the same stats as an iron dagger, with +5 stab, +3 slash, +4 melee strength, and a fast attack speed of 2.4 seconds. It can also be poisoned.

The real value of this weapon is its special attack, Backstab. It costs 75% special attack energy. The hit will never miss as long as the target has not been damaged yet, or you were not the last one to hit it. The special also lowers the target's Defence by the amount of damage dealt. This works like the Bandos godsword and Dorgeshuun crossbow specials. You need to finish the Death to the Dorgeshuun quest to use the special attack.

Players bring the bone dagger to the Tombs of Amascut. The guaranteed hit is great against high defence bosses in higher invocation raids. It works in solo and team raids. Against Kephri in a team, the bone dagger must land the first hit before anyone else attacks the boss.
