Description

The Bronze felling axe is a members-only felling axe in Old School RuneScape. It needs level 1 Attack to equip and level 1 Woodcutting to use. It chops trees at the same speed as a normal bronze axe, so it works well for new accounts and fresh skillers.

The felling axe shines during Forestry. If you carry forester's rations in your inventory or forestry kit, each successful chop gives 10% more Woodcutting experience. You also get a 20% chance to not receive logs, which means faster chopping overall. Each boost uses one ration. Without rations, the axe works like a regular bronze axe.

You can also fight with it. It has +6 slash, +3 crush, and +8 Strength bonuses, with four combat styles: Chop, Hack, Smash, and Block. Its attack speed is 7 ticks.

The axe is tradeable and noteable, and it weighs 1.814 kg. Players can make one by using a felling axe handle on a bronze axe at an anvil with a hammer, which needs level 1 Smithing and gives 5 experience. It is a simple, cheap tool for anyone starting Woodcutting or Forestry events.
