Description

The Bronze axe is a basic tool and weapon in Old School RuneScape. It is the weakest axe in the game, but it is easy for any player to use. You only need level 1 Attack to wield it and level 1 Woodcutting to chop trees with it.

This axe works for both skilling and combat. Use it to cut trees and train Woodcutting from the very start. In a fight, it gives a +4 Slash bonus, a +2 Crush bonus, and a +5 Strength bonus. It swings once every 3 seconds and has four combat styles: Chop, Hack, Smash, and Block.

Players can also make a Bronze axe with level 1 Smithing. It takes one Bronze bar and gives 12.5 Smithing experience. An axe like this is handy for activities such as cutting bruma roots at Wintertodt, chopping Kraken tentacles on the Fishing Trawler, or fighting growthlings at the Bryophyta boss.

You can also combine a Bronze axe with a Felling axe handle to make a Bronze felling axe. It is a simple starter item that every new account can put to work right away.
