Description
The butterfly net is a tool for the Hunter skill in Old School RuneScape. You wield it to catch butterflies, moths, and implings across Gielinor and in Puro-Puro. It can also catch bats in the Chambers of Xeric. If you catch a butterfly or moth without a butterfly jar, it will fly away. If you catch an impling without an impling jar, you will loot it right away. Keep jars with you if you want to save your catches for later.
The net has a handy extra feature. Right-click it to open the Impling Tracker. This tool counts how many implings you have caught in Puro-Puro and in the surface world.
The butterfly net is not sharp, but it can still slash webs, cut Kharidian cacti, and slice bananas into banana slices. That makes it more useful than it looks.
Players who train Hunter or hunt implings for rewards will want this net in their pack. It is a simple tool that opens up butterfly catching and impling hunting, two solid ways to gain Hunter experience and useful loot.
