Description

Cooked slimy eel is a members-only food item in Old School RuneScape. Eating one restores 6 to 10 Hitpoints. Its examine text says it is not delicious, but pretty nutritious.

Players make this food by cooking a raw slimy eel on a fire or a cooking range. It takes level 28 Cooking and gives 95 Cooking experience when it works. Cooking can fail and leave a burnt eel. Burning happens less as your Cooking level goes up. It stops burning at level 61. The Hosidius kitchen range helps too. With its 5% bonus, eels stop burning at level 57. With the 10% bonus, they stop burning at level 53.

Raw slimy eels are caught with a fishing rod and bait at level 28 Fishing. They come from spots like the Lumbridge Swamp Caves, Mort Myre Swamp, the Dorgesh-Kaan South Dungeon, and the Ruins of Camdozaal.

Cooked slimy eel is tradeable and noteable. It does not stack and cannot be worn. It weighs 2 kg. It is a simple, low-cost food that works well for training or light healing at lower levels.
