Raw slimy eel is a fish in Old School RuneScape. It is slime covered, and it is useful for training and quests. Players catch it with a fishing rod and fishing bait at Fishing level 28. It gives 80 Fishing experience per catch in the Lumbridge Swamp Caves, the Dorgesh-Kaan South Dungeon, or the Ruins of Camdozaal. It gives 65 Fishing experience in the Mort Myre Swamp.

With a Cooking level of 28, players can cook it into a cooked slimy eel for 95 Cooking experience. It may burn while cooking and become a burnt eel.

This fish matters for two quests. In Land of the Goblins, it is used as bait to catch a Hemenster whitefish. In Fairytale I - Growing Pains, it is a possible item needed to get the magic secateurs.

Buying raw slimy eel saves time. Skipping the catch means no trip to a swamp or a dark cave, and no need for a light source or quest access. The item is tradeable and noteable. It cannot be equipped and does not stack. It weighs 2 kg, and its item ID is 3379.
