Description

Diamond bolts (e) are adamant bolts tipped with enchanted diamond in Old School RuneScape. They are members-only ammo for crossbows. They are stackable, tradeable, and can be equipped. They have a strong ranged strength bonus of +105.

These bolts have a special effect called Armour Piercing. It has a 10% chance to trigger, or 5% against another player. When it goes off, the hit cannot miss and the max damage goes up by 15%. With the Zaryte crossbow, the boost is 26% instead. A twinkling sound plays when the effect activates.

Players who finish the hard Kandarin Diary get a 10% boost to the trigger rate. That raises the chance to 11%, or 5.5% against other players. This works even without the diary headgear equipped.

Diamond bolts (e) are a smart pick for bossing and hard fights. The guaranteed hits and extra damage make them great against foes with high defence. Players can also make them with 57 Magic using the Enchant Crossbow Bolt (Diamond) spell. Each cast enchants 10 bolts and uses 2 law runes, 1 cosmic rune, and 10 earth runes.
