Diamond dragon bolts are strong crossbow ammo in Old School RuneScape. They are members-only items. You need a Ranged level of 64 to use them. They have a Ranged strength bonus of +122 and weigh nothing. The bolts are stackable and tradeable, so they are easy to carry and store.

Players make these bolts by attaching diamond bolt tips to dragon bolts. This needs level 84 Fletching and gives 7 Fletching experience per bolt. With level 57 Magic, you can enchant them with the Enchant Crossbow Bolt (Diamond) spell. Each cast enchants 10 bolts and uses 2 law runes, 1 cosmic rune, and 10 earth runes. Enchanted diamond dragon bolts only work with a Dragon crossbow or better.

The enchanted bolts have a special effect called Armour Piercing. It has a 10% chance to activate, or 5% against other players. When it triggers, the hit always lands and the max damage goes up by 15%. With the Zaryte crossbow, the boost is 26%. If you finish the hard Kandarin Diary, the chance to trigger rises to 11%. These bolts are a top pick for hard bosses and strong ranged builds.
