Description
The Dragon crossbow is a strong ranged weapon in Old School RuneScape. It is better than the rune crossbow and needs level 64 Ranged to wield. It gives a +94 Ranged attack bonus and can fire bolts up to dragon bolts. It has an attack range of 7 tiles, or 9 tiles when using the longrange style.
The crossbow has a special attack called Annihilate. It uses 60% of the special attack bar and hits up to 9 enemies in a 3x3 area. The main target takes 20% extra damage, while other targets take 20% less. In single-way combat areas, it hits one target with 20% extra damage. Enchanted bolt effects do not work with this special attack.
Players can also make this crossbow with level 78 Fletching by cutting a magic stock, adding dragon limbs, and stringing it with a crossbow string. This gives 275 Fletching experience in total. The crossbow can be changed with a Bounty Hunter ornament kit to become a dragon crossbow (cr). It is a members-only item that weighs 6 kg and was released on 4 January 2018.
