Description

Diamond dragon bolts (e) are enchanted crossbow bolts in Old School RuneScape. They are made from diamond dragon bolts using the Enchant Crossbow Bolt (Diamond) spell, which needs 57 Magic. You can only fire these bolts with a Dragon crossbow or better.

These bolts have a special effect called Armour Piercing. It has a 10% chance to activate, or 5% against another player. When it triggers, the hit ignores your range accuracy and range level, so the hit always lands. It also raises your max damage by 15% for that hit, or 26% with the Zaryte crossbow. You hear a tinkling sound when it works. Because accuracy is ignored, the effect still works well even if your stats drop from drinking a Saradomin brew.

If you have finished the hard Kandarin Diary, the effect chance goes up to 11%. This bonus is always active, even without the headgear equipped.

Diamond dragon bolts (e) give a ranged attack bonus of +122. They are members-only, tradeable, equipable, and stackable. They came out on 4 January 2018 and have a Grand Exchange buy limit of 11,000 per 4 hours.
