Description

Dragon bitter is an ale in Old School RuneScape. Drinking it restores 1 Hitpoint and boosts your Strength by 2 for a short time. It also lowers your Attack, so it works best when Strength matters more than accuracy. It is a members only item that is tradeable and noteable, but it does not stack.

Players can brew dragon bitter at level 39 Cooking for 347 experience. The brew uses 2 buckets of water, 2 barley malt, 4 krandorian hops, and a pot of ale yeast in a fermenting vat. Adding the stuff raises the chance of the ale maturing from 5% to 64%. The brew ferments for 1 to 1.5 days, or up to 5 days with the stuff. Then 8 beer glasses are used on the vat to collect 8 glasses of ale. The mature version is called dragon bitter(m).

Dragon bitter can also be bought at the Dragon Inn in Yanille and at The Deeper Lode in Lovakengj in Great Kourend. The book Gielinor's flora - hops says the ale has a strong bitter taste with a mild earthy and bready flavour.
