Description

Dragon scale dust is a members-only Herblore item in Old School RuneScape. Players make it by using a pestle and mortar on a blue dragon scale. It is a key secondary ingredient for two useful potions.

With level 60 Herblore, you can mix dragon scale dust with a Kwuarm potion (unf) to make weapon poison. This gives 137.5 Herblore XP. With level 69 Herblore, you can mix it with a Lantadyme potion (unf) to make an antifire potion (3). This gives 157.5 Herblore XP. Antifire potions are a big help when fighting dragons.

Buying dragon scale dust saves time. You skip the work of collecting blue dragon scales and crushing them one by one. That means faster Herblore training and quicker potion making.

The item is tradeable and noteable, but it does not stack. It is very light at 0.007 kg, so it is easy to carry. Its item ID is 241, and it was released on 27 February 2002. If you want to train Herblore or stock up on antifire potions, dragon scale dust is a smart pickup.
