Buy OSRS Elemental shield

Description

The Elemental shield is a members-only shield in Old School RuneScape. It is made during and after the Elemental Workshop I quest. Players must complete this quest before they can wear the shield.

The shield gives a +6 magic defence bonus. It has no other combat bonuses. Its main use is protection against skeletal wyverns and wyverns. When worn, it lowers the max damage of a wyvern icy breath attack to 10. This makes it a cheap and simple choice for fighting these monsters.

To make the shield, players need level 20 Smithing, an elemental metal, a hammer, and a battered book or slashed book. The metal is used on a workbench in the Elemental Workshop dungeon. Smithing it gives 20 Smithing experience. The shield is also needed for a hard clue scroll emote step, along with blue dragonhide chaps and a Rune warhammer.

At level 66 Smithing, the shield can be combined with a wyvern visage to make an ancient wyvern shield. This gives 2,000 Smithing experience. The Elemental shield is tradeable, equipable, and noteable, and it weighs very little, so it is easy to carry.
