Description

Emerald bolt tips are a members-only Fletching item in Old School RuneScape. Players attach them to mithril bolts or dragon bolts. This turns them into emerald bolts or emerald dragon bolts. Those bolts can then be enchanted.

These tips are handy for training Fletching. With a Fletching level of 58, a player can use a chisel on a cut emerald to make 12 emerald bolt tips. This gives 5.5 experience. At level 58, a player can attach 10 tips to 10 mithril bolts to make emerald bolts and earn 55 experience. At level 84, a player can attach 10 tips to 10 dragon bolts to make emerald dragon bolts, which also gives 55 experience.

Emerald bolt tips are stackable and tradeable, and they weigh nothing. That makes them easy to hold in large amounts without taking up inventory space.

In the game, these tips drop from monsters like Vorkath, Hydra, Colossal Hydra, Vyrewatch, Vyrewatch Sentinels, Lava Strykewyrms, Magma Strykewyrms, and Elite Black Knights. They also come from Stone chests and skeletons and zombies in the Shayzien Crypts. Buying a stack saves time spent hunting those drops or cutting gems by hand.
