Description

Emerald dragon bolts are strong crossbow ammo in Old School RuneScape. You need level 64 Ranged to use them. They have a ranged strength bonus of +122 and weigh nothing. The bolts are stackable and tradeable, so they take up only one inventory slot.

These bolts work with a Dragon crossbow or better. Players can also make them with level 84 Fletching by attaching emerald bolt tips to dragon bolts. Each bolt made gives 5.5 Fletching experience.

With level 27 Magic, you can enchant these bolts using the Enchant Crossbow Bolt (Emerald) spell. Each cast enchants 10 bolts and uses 3 air runes, 1 nature rune, and 1 cosmic rune. It also gives 37 Magic experience. The enchanted version has a 55% chance to poison a target on a hit. This deals 5 poison damage, which is more than super poison. Players who finish the Hard Kandarin Diary get a 10% higher chance for this effect to trigger.

Many players use these bolts at the Corporeal Beast to stun the Dark energy core. They are a solid pick for ranged combat and a smart buy for boss fights.
