Fox fur is a Hunter fur in Old School RuneScape. Players get it by catching pyre foxes, which needs level 57 Hunter. Each pyre fox always drops one fox fur. This item is members only and was released on 20 March 2024.

Fox fur is a key crafting material. At level 35 Crafting, four fox fur can be made into a small meat pouch for 30 XP. The needle method also uses a small amount of thread. At level 71 Crafting, three fox fur and one mixed hide base can be made into mixed hide legs for 210 XP. Players can also use the Pellem method for mixed hide legs, which takes three fox fur and 20,000 coins.

Buying fox fur saves time spent hunting pyre foxes. It is a good pick for players who want to train Crafting or make mixed hide legs without the Hunter grind.
