Description
The glassblowing pipe is a tool for the Crafting skill in Old School RuneScape. It is used to shape molten glass into useful items. You need this pipe to make any glass item in the game.
Using the pipe on molten glass lets you make many things. You can craft a beer glass at level 1 Crafting for 17.5 XP. Higher levels unlock more items. These include the empty candle lantern at level 4, the empty oil lamp at level 12, and the vial at level 33. At level 42 you can make an empty fishbowl. Level 46 unlocks the unpowered orb, and level 49 unlocks the lantern lens. At level 87 you can make an empty light orb for 70 XP. Each item takes one molten glass to make.
The pipe is light at 0.056 kg. It is tradeable and noteable, but it cannot be equipped or stacked. Players want this tool because glassblowing is a solid way to train Crafting. Vials and unpowered orbs are also useful for other skills, so the pipe helps players make items they can use or sell.
