Green d'hide vambraces are a hand slot armour piece in Old School RuneScape. They are made for rangers and need level 40 Ranged to wear. There is no Defence requirement, so combat pures can use them too.
These vambraces give a +8 Ranged attack bonus. That is the highest ranged accuracy bonus of any free-to-play hand slot item. They also work well for melee. They have better total defence than leather gloves or leather vambraces, and they do not lower any melee attack stats.
They do have a -10 Magic attack bonus, so they are a poor pick for casting spells. But that same penalty makes them useful for splashing on free-to-play servers. They are one of the only items that help players reach the -64 Magic attack bonus without a cursed goblin staff.
Players can craft them at level 57 Crafting with one green dragon leather and thread for 62 experience. They can also be combined with kebbit claws at level 32 Crafting to make green spiky vambraces. They weigh 0.25 kg. For free-to-play rangers, these vambraces are a simple and strong choice for the hand slot.
