Description

Leather vambraces are leather armour worn on the hands in Old School RuneScape. They have no requirements to equip, so any player can wear them right away. They give a +4 ranged attack bonus, plus small defence bonuses of +2 stab, +2 slash, and +1 crush.

These vambraces are great for low-level rangers. They also work well for mages because they have no magic penalty. In fact, they are a best-in-slot mage glove since they carry no negative stats. For free-to-play players who do not have 40 Ranged for green dragonhide vambraces, these are the best gloves to use. They beat leather gloves in most ways, with crush defence as the one exception.

Players can make leather vambraces with level 11 Crafting using one leather and one thread. This gives 22 Crafting experience. With level 32 Crafting, kebbit claws can be added to turn them into spiky vambraces.

Leather vambraces are light at about 0.2 kg, so they will not slow you down. They have been in the game since the launch of RuneScape 2 on 29 March 2004.
