Description

Leather gloves are basic gloves worn in the hands slot in Old School RuneScape. They give small Defence bonuses of +1 slash and +2 crush. They have no attack bonuses. The gloves are light, tradeable, and noteable, and free-to-play players can use them.

Players can make leather gloves with level 1 Crafting. All it takes is one piece of leather, some thread, and a needle. Making a pair gives Crafting experience and needs no special tools or buildings.

These gloves are easy to find in the game. They spawn in spots like Lumbridge Swamp, Edgeville, Varrock, Shayzien, and the Isle of Souls. Monsters such as Crawling Hands in the Slayer Tower also drop them. Players can buy them at Thessalia's Fine Clothes in Varrock too.

Leather gloves matter for Treasure Trails. Several Easy and Medium clue scroll emote clues ask for them at places like the Exam Centre, Al Kharid mine, west of Keep Le Faye, and south of the Edgeville General Store. Keeping a pair on hand saves time when one of these clues shows up.
