Description
The Grubby key is an item in Old School RuneScape. It opens the Grubby Chest in the Forthos Dungeon. The chest sits in the south-west corner of the dungeon, behind a gate that needs level 57 Thieving to open. The key is tradeable and weighs almost nothing.
Each key gives one chest opening. The chest gives several rewards at once. You get two food rolls, which can include sharks, egg potatoes, Saradomin brews, or super restores. You also get one potion roll with items like super attack, super strength, ranging potions, or prayer potions.
The main roll is the big prize. It can give 200 law, death, astral, or blood runes, 50 dragon dart tips, 100 dragon arrowtips, a crystal key, noted dragon bones, noted red dragonhide, noted herbs like ranarr and torstol, or 10,000 coins. There is also a small chance to get an orange or blue egg sac, which recolours the Sraracha pet.
Players want grubby keys for the runes, herbs, and supplies without long grinds in the dungeon. Bring at least 11 free inventory spaces when you open the chest so you get all your loot.
