Description
The Haddock eye is a members-only item in Old School RuneScape. It is a Herblore secondary used to make super fishing potions. Players who train Herblore want this item because it is a key part of the recipe.
To make a Super fishing potion(3), mix a haddock eye with a Pillar potion (unf). This needs level 62 Herblore and gives 140.5 Herblore XP.
Haddock eyes come from raw haddock caught by deep sea trawling. Use a knife on a raw haddock to try to cut out an eye. You need level 1 Cooking, and each cut gives 2 Cooking XP. The chance to get an eye grows with your Cooking level. It starts near 19.9% at level 1 and hits 100% at level 99. Cutting on a chum station or better can give more eyes per cut. You also get fish offcuts as a byproduct.
The haddock eye is tradeable on the Grand Exchange and can be noted. It is not stackable and cannot be worn. It weighs 0.007 kg and its item ID is 32357. The item came out on 19 November 2025.
