Description

Raw haddock is a deep sea fish in Old School RuneScape. Players catch it from haddock shoals while deep sea trawling. Catching it needs level 73 Fishing. A trawling net gives 128.5 Fishing experience per catch, and a fishing rod gives 25.7. Raw haddock can also come from shimmering shoals along with other deep sea fish.

Cooking raw haddock needs level 73 Cooking and gives 180 experience when it works. A failed attempt makes a burnt haddock. The burn rate drops as your Cooking level goes up. Cooked haddock heals 18 Hitpoints when eaten. It can also boost Hitpoints above your base level by 20% of that level or by 10, whichever is lower. Like anglerfish, it will not overheal if you are in combat in a PvP area.

Raw haddock can also be cut with a knife to make fish offcuts. There is a chance to get a haddock eye, which is a Herblore secondary used to make super fishing potions. The item is tradeable and noteable. It is not stackable and cannot be equipped. It weighs 0.7 kg.
