Description
Hunter spear tips are an item in Old School RuneScape. Players use them to make hunter's spears. The tips come from hunters' loot sacks. You get these sacks as a reward when you finish Hunters' Rumours.
To make hunter's spears, you need level 60 Fletching. This level cannot be boosted. You use a knife on five jerboa tails, one teak log, and five hunter spear tips. Spears are always made in batches of five, so you need at least five spear tips each time.
Each hunter's spear you craft gives 9.5 Fletching XP. Since spears come in sets of five, one batch gives a nice chunk of XP while using up your tips.
Hunter spear tips are easy to store and carry. They are stackable, so many tips take up just one spot in your inventory or bank. They also weigh nothing, so they will not slow you down. The tips are tradeable as well.
