Description
The Ironwood plank is a building material in Old School RuneScape. It is a strong plank used in the Sailing skill. It is the next tier of core boat parts above camphor. Players use it to build ships, ship parts, and facilities. It also builds bank chests on certain islands.
Ironwood planks are used in many Sailing builds. These include ironwood hull parts, the ironwood cargo hold, repair kits, and helms for rafts, skiffs, and sloops. They also build the rune cannon, chum spreader, cotton trawling net, crystal extractor, eternal brazier, greater teleport focus, rune salvaging hook, and the bank chest amenity.
Players can make these planks at a sawmill from ironwood logs. A sawmill voucher doubles the output to two planks. The Plank Make spell also works. It needs level 86 Magic and the Dream Mentor quest. Planks can also come from a Lost ironwood crate at level 95.
The Ironwood plank is tradeable on the Grand Exchange with a buy limit of 13,000 every 4 hours. It is noteable but not stackable, and it weighs 0.8 kg. Buying planks in bulk saves time on making them yourself.
