Description

Ironwood logs are high level logs in Old School RuneScape. They come from ironwood trees, which need level 80 Woodcutting to chop. Each log gives 175 Woodcutting experience. These trees grow on Sunbleak Island, which needs level 72 Sailing to reach. Players with level 80 Farming can also grow them from an ironwood sapling in a hardwood tree patch.

Ironwood logs have many uses. Players with level 80 Firemaking can burn them for 220.5 experience each. A sawmill can turn each log into an ironwood plank for 5,000 coins. The Lunar spell Plank Make can do the same job for less coin, but it needs Nature, Astral, and Earth runes.

These logs are key for boat building. They are used to make the ironwood hull for a raft, plus masts and cotton sails for the raft, skiff, and sloop. They also make the ironwood blowpipe and ironwood pyre logs.

Ironwood logs are tradeable and noteable, but not stackable or equipable. Each log weighs 2 kg. The buy limit is 12,000 logs per 4 hours. Stocking up on ironwood logs saves hours of chopping and sailing.
