Description
Karil's crossbow 0 is the fully degraded version of Karil's crossbow in Old School RuneScape. This is a two-handed ranged weapon from Karil the Tainted's Barrows set. Because it is at 0 charge, it must be repaired before it can be used in combat. A full repair costs 100,000 coins at an NPC, or less at a player-owned house armour stand based on your Smithing level. At 99 Smithing the cost is about 50,500 coins.
Once repaired, the crossbow needs 70 Ranged to wield. It fires bolt racks, which break when fired. It shoots fast, like a shortbow, so it can deal strong damage per second. It has a Ranged attack bonus of +84 and an attack range of 8. Longrange adds 2 more range.
The crossbow shines when worn with the rest of Karil's set. The full set has a chance to lower the target's Agility level. Add an amulet of the damned and each attack has a 25% chance to hit a second time for half damage.
A repaired crossbow lasts 15 hours of combat before it degrades again. Its power stays the same at every damage state.
